About The Position

The Mechanical Dry CSU Engineer leads and executes discipline commissioning and start-up (CSU) for mechanical and high-purity process and utility systems on Bechtel’s Fab 62 semiconductor facility project in Chandler, Arizona. The position plans and supervises work from construction completion through system turnover to operations, ensuring that systems are safely installed, verified against design requirements, and ready for wet commissioning, process qualification, startup, and handover. The role is accountable for safe, quality execution within the CSU plan established by the Commissioning Manager. The engineer works with Engineering, Construction, Vendors, Quality, Facilities, and Operations teams to commission cleanroom HVAC and related mechanical systems, process and building utilities, and high-purity systems. Responsibilities span commissioning planning, field inspections and testing, turnover and documentation, vendor and contractor coordination, and safety and quality compliance. The project is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility at Intel’s Ocotillo campus and supports expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity. The position is designated as part-time telework and requires at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules are determined by the individual and supervisor in consultation with functional or project leadership.
