About The Position

The CSU Turnover Lead represents the Commissioning and Startup functional group on a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role coordinates Construction, Startup, subcontractors, and the customer to communicate system and area turnover logic, organize walkdowns, identify remaining work, and support completion of turnover activities. The lead manages the day-to-day work of technical and administrative personnel, oversees punch listing for system and area turnovers, and ensures completion-tracking programs and turnover documentation are current, complete, compiled, and submitted.

The project is an early-works effort to build a major gas-fired power generation facility in response to rising energy demand from data centers. The position is assigned to the Renewables & Clean Power team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Relevant experience delivering large-scale combined-cycle power projects.
• Broad working knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and facility operating criteria relevant to supervised activities.
• Extensive knowledge of administrative practices, including cost and scheduling.
• Working knowledge of P&IDs and Single Line Diagrams.
• Ability to lead effectively in a team environment and motivate and support others.
• Expert understanding of CSU core processes and procedures.
• Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and construction functions and general business techniques.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present CSU information to management and the client.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of system and area scope and the drawings needed to develop turnover packages.
• Build digital and physical system and area turnover packages for handover to Startup and the client.
• Schedule system and area walkdowns and coordinate them with Construction, Startup, and the client as applicable.
• Prepare and lead system and area walkdowns.
• Record punch-list items identified during walkdowns and enter them into the punch-list tracking system.
• Maintain the punch-list tracking system.
• Use data to develop reporting that supports strategy development and decision-making.
• Coordinate with Startup managers on priorities and strategies for subcontracted work.
• Schedule walkdowns for subcontracted scopes and validate punch lists for those scopes.
• Ensure inspection records for subcontracted scopes are completed and submitted.
• Coordinate with direct-hire supervision.
• Lead the day-to-day activities of technical and administrative personnel.
• Oversee punch listing and help expedite completion of remaining work.
• Keep completion-tracking programs current and ensure applicable documentation and inspection forms are complete, compiled, and presented for turnover.
