About The Position

Santander is seeking a dynamic, energetic intern to assist the commercial area and learn how the organization operates. The role provides on-the-job training across areas of the client life cycle, including internal events, onboarding, banking operations and documentation, updates, credit operations, and investment platforms. The intern will support regional projects and initiatives and assist bankers and the team with administrative functions. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Ability to participate within a multidisciplinary team and work autonomously when appropriate.
Willingness to learn and gain hands-on experience.
Attention to detail and follow-through.
Dedication to the team's success.
Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship to commence employment.

Responsibilities

Participate in on-the-job training in areas related to the client life cycle, including internal events, onboarding, banking operations and documentation, updates, credit operations, and investment platforms.
Support current projects involving Appian Credit, Appian Updates, W8s Appian, DocuSign and POs, and Cornercards.
Assist with assignments for specific initiatives in the region.
Support bankers and the team with administrative functions.
