About The Position

In the Nordstrom Beauty Department, the Interim Beauty Sales employee creates personalized beauty experiences and contributes to a passionate team. The role engages customers to understand their needs and maximize sales for luxury and on-trend beauty brands. It involves supporting customers with makeup and skincare, building a customer following in-store and digitally, and helping maintain a welcoming, inclusive, customer-ready department.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products aligned with customers’ beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
Maintain department organization and cleanliness so it is customer-ready.
Keep current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through Nordstrom and brand-partner training.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
