About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a full-time Intensive In-Home Qualified Professional in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The role provides team-based therapy for children ages 3–20 and their families using Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy, an evidence-based therapeutic model. Services may involve extended family, schools, the juvenile justice system, and care coordination in the home. Work is generally conducted during afternoon and evening hours, and the position participates in a crisis response rotation one week at a time. The service area includes Lenoir, Greene, Wilson, Edgecombe, Nash, and Wayne counties. Care is provided in community and home-based settings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
One year of post-degree experience with an at-risk youth population.
Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a good driving record.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to provide care in community and home-based settings and participate in the crisis phone support rotation.

Responsibilities

Provide team-based Intensive In-Home therapy to children ages 3–20 and their families using Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy.
Provide interventions involving extended family members.
Coordinate interventions with schools and the juvenile justice system as appropriate.
Provide care coordination interventions in the home.
Participate in the team’s crisis response rotation for one week at a time and in crisis phone support.
Link clients to community resources.
Provide care in community and home-based settings.
