Intake FAX RN - Evening
About The Position
The Intake FAX RN is responsible for timely processing of inquiry and referral calls and serves as a liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff, and hospital personnel involved with transfer requests. The role enters call data into the facility database and manages e-fax applications to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. The RN communicates effectively with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff and follows hospital policies and procedures for referral management. This is an evening position, Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. It is not remote.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Texas Board of Nursing licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
Nice To Haves
- One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
