Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patients’ insurance eligibility information to ensure proper coverage and payment for services.
• Work with insurance providers and referring physicians’ staff to obtain patient history and notes needed to expedite processing.
• Analyze payor eligibility responses to identify information needed to complete verifications.
• Obtain and confirm insurance pre-authorizations, and contact insurance providers by email or phone to review authorization status.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the RIS system according to established standards.
