About The Position

Sage Dental Management is a rapidly growing Dental Service Organization committed to innovation, excellence, and patient-centered care. Insurance Verification Coordinators support insurance verification, plan building, and correctly linking insurance for appointments scheduled in a specified market. This position is based at the Support Center in Boca Raton, Florida and is not remote.

Requirements

Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to retain specific insurance verification avenues and methods.
Ability to organize work, communicate and document issues and resolutions, multitask, and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work collaboratively and take direction in a team environment.
Commitment to following company policies and procedures and HIPAA regulations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with medical and/or dental insurance verification.
Experience working in a dental or medical office.
Experience with dental or medical software.

Responsibilities

Complete high-volume PPO insurance verifications for new patients.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail and retain knowledge of specific verification avenues and methods.
Maintain an organized system of operation with appropriate team members.
Communicate and document issues and resolutions effectively.
Work independently with minimal supervision or direction while multitasking.
Work as a team player and take direction in a team environment.
Participate in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and position.
Meet goals set by management.
Follow company policies and procedures and comply with HIPAA regulations.
