About The Position
As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you will help ensure accurate verification of benefits for healthcare services. The role includes verifying health insurance benefits, preparing patient estimates, and contacting patients about balances due. You will communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. The position is full-time and in person. Requirements
- Previous experience in medical insurance verification.
- Proficiency with medical software and electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of deductibles, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket expenses.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare professionals, insurance companies, and patients.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Epic experience is a plus but is not required.
