Requirements

Previous medical billing experience.
Knowledge of insurance billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and EOB processing.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and insurance companies.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Medical billing experience in a chiropractic or healthcare setting.
Familiarity with chiropractic practice management software.
Billing certification.

Responsibilities

Process and submit medical billing claims accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments.
Follow up with insurance carriers on outstanding claims, denials, and appeals.
Post payments and adjustments, and reconcile patient accounts.
Review and resolve billing discrepancies and patient billing inquiries.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the practice management system.
Coordinate with front desk and clinical staff to ensure billing accuracy.
