About The Position

Rehab Medical is seeking an Insurance Verification Representative to join its growing team. Under the direct supervision of the Insurance Verification Manager, this position verifies and reviews insurance orders and clinical documentation to ensure compliance with insurance criteria and guidelines. The role verifies patient eligibility and benefits for durable medical equipment (DME), accurately enters information into required systems, keeps current with changing insurance industry guidelines, and communicates with the sales team and other departments to ensure accuracy and clarity. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

Basic computer skills, including data entry.

Verify patient eligibility and benefits for DME equipment referrals to Rehab Medical.
Enter data accurately into necessary systems.
Stay up to date on changing insurance industry guidelines.
Communicate with the sales team and other departments to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Review insurance orders and clinical documentation for compliance with insurance criteria and guidelines.
