About The Position

As a Farmers Insurance Agency Producer, you will work closely with a Farmers Insurance Agency Owner to help grow the agency through sales, marketing, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales and a desire to build a career in the insurance industry. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing client relationships, and supporting the agency's overall growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Licensing: Must be willing to obtain state insurance licenses (auto, home, life, etc.). Farmers will provide guidance and support in obtaining these licenses.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals (insurance sales experience is a plus).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain insurance products and build rapport with clients.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric attitude with a desire to help individuals and businesses protect what matters most.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with using CRM software, quoting tools, and other technology platforms.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation: Proactively prospect for new clients through referrals, networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Insurance Solutions: Present and sell a variety of insurance products, including auto, home, life, and business insurance, to meet the needs of clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and build long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and addressing their ongoing insurance needs.
  • Quoting & Policy Writing: Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, assist clients in selecting appropriate coverage, and complete the policy issuance process.
  • Client Retention: Review policies with existing clients, offer policy upgrades, and ensure renewals are handled smoothly.
  • Marketing & Community Outreach: Participate in local marketing initiatives and community events to increase brand visibility and attract potential clients.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the agency owner with administrative tasks such as managing client files, handling billing inquiries, and processing claims.
