About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through insurance and financial solutions tailored to their needs. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to established books of business and a focused educator market. The role offers a performance-based 1099 compensation structure, including enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and additional bonus opportunities. Work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. The producer is expected to invest time and resources in building and growing their business while developing a client base and professional network.

Ability to obtain, or current possession of, state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
