About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The role includes mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to products designed for educators. Producers build and manage their own business, develop a client base, and connect with potential clients through individual and group presentations, community events, and networking. The work may take place in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with enhanced commissions and a 36-month incentive plan. The plan includes monthly incentives based on sales volume and quarterly production bonuses during the first 36 months. The posting also describes a sign-on bonus, uncapped commission earnings, and structured incentive and bonus pay. Top performers may have opportunities to earn all-expenses-paid trips.
