About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges with tailored insurance and financial solutions. The role offers mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to products designed for educators. Producers can leverage established books of business while building their own practice, and are supported in growing their client base through value-added services, networking opportunities, and a multi-line product portfolio.

Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with enhanced commissions, uncapped earnings, monthly incentives and quarterly production bonuses during the first 36 months, plus a sign-on bonus. The work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. A mentor agent provides guidance and support.

Requirements

• Commitment to helping educators achieve financial prosperity.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to manage an independent business.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
