About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to provide educators with tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to a comprehensive multi-line product portfolio. The role offers a performance-based 1099 compensation structure with enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Producers can use established books of business while building their own practice, with no external office requirement and options to work in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. The role focuses on helping educators address financial challenges, educating prospective clients about products, developing community and professional connections, and building a strong client base. A mentor agent provides ongoing support and accountability as the producer grows their business.

Requirements

Self-motivation and ability to manage an independent business.
Ability to obtain or currently hold state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
