About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges and achieve greater financial security. The role offers mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and insurance products tailored to educators. Producers build and manage their own business, develop a client base, and connect with potential clients through presentations, community events, and networking. Work may be in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting.

Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with a 36-month incentive plan, enhanced commissions, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, a sign-on bonus, and uncapped earnings. Producers can leverage established books of business and access value-added services, streamlined sales processes, a multi-line product portfolio, and industry and community events. A mentor agent provides guidance and support.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
