About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and support while building a client base and growing an independent business. Horace Mann offers products designed for educators, a multi-line product portfolio, established books of business, value-added client connection services, and streamlined sales processes. The role involves presenting products to potential clients, building market relationships, participating in community and networking events, and keeping current with industry trends. The producer is expected to invest time and resources in the success and growth of their business. Compensation is performance-based, with commissions, incentives, bonuses, and a 36-month incentive plan. Work may take place in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own business.
Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
