About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to a multi-line product portfolio and established books of business. The role involves building a client base and market relationships, presenting products to individuals and groups, and developing the producer’s own business. Work may be in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with commissions, incentives, bonuses, and a sign-on bonus.

• Self-motivation and ability to manage one’s own business.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
