About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges and achieve long-term financial security. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to products tailored to educators. The role involves building and managing a business, developing a client base, and presenting insurance solutions to prospective clients. Work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with a 36-month incentive plan, enhanced commissions, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Producers can use established books of business, value-added services, community and industry events, and a multi-line product portfolio to connect with clients and grow their business. Uncapped earnings and commission are offered, with potential all-expenses-paid trips for top performers.

Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
