About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges with insurance and financial solutions tailored to their needs. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, training, and support while building a client base and growing an independent business. The role offers access to an established book of business, a niche educator market, value-added services, streamlined sales processes, networking opportunities, and a multi-line product portfolio. Compensation is performance-based and classified as 1099, with enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly incentives based on sales volume, and quarterly production bonuses during the first 36 months. A sign-on bonus, uncapped commission potential, and structured incentive and bonus pay are also offered. The work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Self-motivation and ability to manage an independent business.
Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
