About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to provide tailored insurance and financial solutions to educators. The role includes mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and support in building a client base and an independent business. Producers can leverage established books of business while developing their own practice and connect with potential clients through community, networking, and industry events. Work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based, with commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives and quarterly production bonuses during the first 36 months, as well as a sign-on bonus and uncapped earning potential.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to manage an independent business.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
