About The Position

Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking Insurance Defense Litigation Attorneys at the Associate and Partner levels for its California office. Candidates must reside in California. The position may be fully remote or performed in a flexible hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days per week. The role involves insurance defense litigation and requires strong writing and analytical skills, along with experience handling discovery, depositions, mediations, motions, and trial preparation. Exceptional candidates will have experience defending construction defect, commercial, general, and professional liability matters, and familiarity with standard legal billing practices. Attorneys receive meaningful hands-on experience, direct access to partners, and client-facing responsibility. The salary range is $120,000 to $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Excellent writing and analytical skills.
Experience drafting and responding to discovery, preparing for and conducting depositions, handling mediations and motions, and preparing for trial.
Active license to practice law in California and membership in good standing with the State Bar.
Must reside in California.
