About The Position

Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking Insurance Defense Litigation Attorneys at the Associate and Partner levels for its California office. Candidates must reside in California. The position may be fully remote or use a flexible hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote per week.

Attorneys handle insurance defense litigation and need strong writing and analytical skills, as well as experience with discovery, depositions, mediations, motions, and trial preparation. The firm offers a professional and friendly work environment, meaningful hands-on experience, direct access to partners, and client-facing responsibility. Salary is $120,000 to $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting and responding to discovery, preparing for and conducting depositions, mediations, motions, and trial preparation.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• Membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

Nice To Haves

• Experience defending construction defect, commercial, general, and professional liability matters.
• Familiarity with standard legal billing practices.
