About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Concord, New Hampshire. The agent builds and manages an insurance agency serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves developing market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and participating in networking and community events. Horace Mann offers a multiline product portfolio, technology, training, marketing and relationship-building programs, and a dedicated Premier Service Representative to handle client service work so the agent can focus on growing the business. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with incentives tied to activity and success, including quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong business management skills.
Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
