About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in San Angelo, Texas. The agent will help educators find affordable insurance solutions and build financial security, while developing and managing an agency in an exclusive territory. The role involves building market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and engaging in networking, community, and industry events. Agents are expected to invest time and resources in the long-term success of their business.

Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an incentive package covering the first 48 months, a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, technology and ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses, including Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
