About The Position
Farmers Insurance agencies in Burbank and Calabasas are looking for a motivated, bilingual sales professional who is ready to grow within the insurance industry. You’ll work with both English and Spanish-speaking customers, connect with agency-provided leads, and help clients find insurance options that fit their needs. You’ll also receive ongoing coaching and training to continue developing your sales and insurance knowledge. Previous insurance experience is helpful, but not required. This is an opportunity to build real insurance sales experience while learning how a successful agency operates. For candidates interested in long-term growth, there may also be opportunities to move into leadership or pursue agency ownership in the future.
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and in person
- Motivated by goals, performance, and earning potential
- Coachable and willing to learn
- Organized with strong follow-through
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales or insurance experience preferred
- Active insurance licensing preferred, or willingness to obtain the required licenses
Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective customers through agency-provided leads and follow-up
- Assist both English and Spanish-speaking clients
- Learn about customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Commercial, and other insurance products
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistent follow-up
- Work toward individual and agency production goals
