About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent serving the El Paso South/Horizon City, Texas area. The agent will build and manage an insurance business focused on educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves building market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and participating in networking, community, and industry events. The agent is expected to invest time and resources in the long-term success of the business.

Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation, incentive opportunities during the first 48 months, an exclusive territory, a dedicated Service Representative, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Business management skills to build and manage an agency.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
