About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to support their strategic partnership with Branch Insurance. In this role, you will offer and write personal auto and home insurance through Branch Insurance, while also representing Horace Mann for life insurance, retirement solutions, and educator-focused insurance solutions. The position is designed to help individuals achieve their financial goals by serving educators and their communities. Horace Mann offers competitive, performance-based 1099 compensation with an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, including earning incentives and quarterly production incentives. A dedicated Service Representative will handle client service work, allowing the agent to focus on business development. The role includes an exclusive territory in a niche market, access to cutting-edge technology and ongoing training, a comprehensive product portfolio, and market/relationship-building programs. No external office is required initially, though Registered Representatives must establish one within two years.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, sales, and business management skills to build and manage your agency.
- Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
