Insurance Agent - Victoria, TX
About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Victoria, Texas. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves establishing market access and strong relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, networking in the community and industry, and investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business. The agent receives performance-based 1099 compensation, incentive opportunities during the first 48 months, a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, an exclusive territory, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. An external office is not required for the first two years.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
