About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Gainesville, Texas. The agent will build and manage an insurance business serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves building relationships and market access, presenting insurance products to groups and individuals, and participating in networking, community, and industry events. The agent is expected to invest time and resources in the long-term success of the business.

Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation and an incentive package for the first 48 months, along with a dedicated Service Representative, an exclusive territory, technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
