About The Position

The Insurance Agent/Producer serves customers by assisting with payments, providing quotes, and issuing policies. The role includes educating customers about coverage options to help ensure they have proper protection, maintaining customer records and agency reports, and following established agency procedures. The agent must maintain an active state insurance license and complete required continuing education.

Requirements

Active state insurance license.
Completion of required continuing education (CE) courses.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain an active state insurance license and complete required continuing education (CE) courses.
Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
Assist customers with payments, quotes, and policy issuance while educating them on coverage options to ensure proper protection.
Follow the Agency Standards Manual and established procedures.
Follow up on outstanding items and maintain complete customer files for the agency and insurance carriers.
Complete filing and posting within the agency management system.
Monitor renewals and maintain required reports.
Maintain a neat, professional appearance and good grooming.
Demonstrate strong organizational and computer skills.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Complete tasks in a timely manner.
Work well with others as a team player.
Be dependable, reliable, and accountable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
