PART TIME INSTRUCTOR POOL - ART
About The Position
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting part-time faculty for its Art department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform tasks that support the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities relate to classroom assignments, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027. Work hours vary based on assignment, and the position is less than 67% FTE. The starting salary range is $70.84–$86.11, based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, with candidates contacted for interviews as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in fine arts, art, or art history; or bachelor's degree in fine arts, art, or art history and master's degree in humanities; or the equivalent.
- Applicants applying under equivalency must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and supporting equivalency materials.

- Contribute to curriculum responsibilities.
- Advise students.
- Participate in professional development.
- Address assignment-specific needs.
