PART TIME INSTRUCTOR POOL - NUTRITIONAL SCIENCE / DIETETICS
About The Position
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting part-time faculty for its Nutritional Science/Dietetics instructor pool in the Exercise Science & Wellness department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty support the colleges’ and District’s visions, missions, and values. Responsibilities may include classroom assignments, evaluating students, curriculum work, student advising, professional development, and other assignment-specific needs. Work hours vary based on assignment. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, and applicants may be contacted for interviews as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration; or a bachelor's degree in one of those fields and a master's degree in chemistry, public health, or family and consumer studies/home economics; or the stated equivalent.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration plus certification as a registered dietician qualifies.
- Applicants applying under equivalency must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and supporting equivalency materials.
- Successful fingerprint clearance is required for employment.
- New employees must provide acceptable proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States.

- Provide student advising.
