About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for STAT 1P99 Applied Statistics for Life Sciences for the Fall D2 term. This position involves scheduled contact time with students, as well as non-classroom time for lecture preparation, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. Requirements
- PhD in STAT or related discipline. Senior doctoral candidates will be considered if no qualified applicants are found.
- Experience in teaching quantitative research methods.
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of STAT.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Preparation of lectures

- Marking and grading
- Course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty
- Responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course if employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent.
