About The Position

Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for an Instructor for STAT 1P98 D2 Fall. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group). The compensation is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (nominally 195 hours) and $15,775.20 per full course (nominally 390 hours). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture, or equivalent, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. Requirements

PhD in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent is required (in the absence of applicants holding a PhD, applicants with a Masters or equivalent will be considered)
Demonstrated success in the teaching of undergraduate university mathematics courses, particularly introductory statistics
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in teaching large classes for students who are not mathematics majors, and in communicating mathematics effectively at an elementary university level.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement.
