About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking part-time instructors to teach Jazz and/or Modern Dance courses. Teaching assignments will include courses related to dance performance and technique and may involve preparing course materials, delivering instruction, and supporting student learning outcomes. The position involves teaching at one or more CSN campus locations, potentially in classroom, online, and/or hybrid formats, and may include courses scheduled during the day, evening, and/or weekends. Instructors will teach any Dance Program courses for which they are qualified.
Requirements
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university; or a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with exceptional professional skill and relevant industry experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses offered within the Dance Program.
- Deliver instruction in classroom, online, and/or hybrid formats.
- Teach at one or more CSN campus locations, as assigned.
- Teach courses scheduled during the day, evening, and/or weekends.
- Teach any Dance Program courses for which the instructor is qualified.
