About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a part-time Instructor for Videography for Fiscal Year 2027. This role involves teaching college-level courses in videography, developing course materials, evaluating student performance, and contributing to student advisement and program development. Requirements
- Videography/Film industry experience – minimum 5 years
- Experience using/teaching Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects software
- Compositing and visual effects experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in video/film-related field
- Previous experience teaching video/film classes.
- Familiar with Final Cut Pro X software
Responsibilities
- Teaching college-level courses in the classroom and/or studio.
- Develop syllabi and course materials.
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
- Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development.
