About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for IADM 3P11 Motion Capture Studio for the Winter D3 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The course is scheduled to run from January to April 2027, with in-person sessions on Mondays from 18:00 to 22:00. Compensation for a full course is $15,775.20, effective September 1, 2026. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of the seminar/lab in each course. Duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as lecture preparation, student consultation, marking, grading, and course administration.
Requirements
- BA in Digital Media or equivalent
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., through course evaluations and/or academic references)
- Evidence of scholarly research and/or applied practice related to motion capture, 3D modelling using Unity 3D, Maya (or Blender)
- Applicants must provide evidence of equivalency for educational requirements.
