About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for the course IADM 1P30 Programming for Interactive Media. The course will be delivered in-person on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM during the Winter 2027 term (January to April 2027). The compensation for this half course is $7,887.59 effective September 1, 2026. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years experience working with the Unity game engine.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the C# programming language.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the games or interactive media industries (e.g., a shipped game or app) will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures

- Marking and grading
- Course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty
- Responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course for instructors employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent.
