About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for HLSC 2P92 Winter D3. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The role involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. The compensation for this role is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally) and $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements
- PhD in Health Sciences/Medical Sciences or related field
- Sound knowledge of nutrition throughout the lifespan and its role in health care
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience with large class size at the undergraduate university level
