About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for HLSC 2P09 for the Fall D2 term. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group and focuses on Human Integrated Physiology. The role involves scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. Requirements
- PhD in a Health-Science related field.
- After the deadline, if no qualified PhD applications have been received, those at ABD or those with a master’s degree combined with relevant experience will be considered.
- A sound knowledge of the fundamental principles of human physiology with emphasis on cardiovascular, respiratory, renal and immune functions.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience with large class size at the undergraduate university level.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with online delivery tools (MS Teams, Brightspace, Lifesize, etc.) is an asset.
Responsibilities

- Responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course for instructors employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent.
