Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for an Instructor for the course HIST 2P02 Canada After 1885. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation for the role is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (nominally 195 hours) or $15,775.20 per full course (nominally 390 hours). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture, or equivalent, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties and responsibilities align with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement, including scheduled student contact time and non-classroom time such as lecture preparation, student consultation, marking, grading, course administration, grade appeals, and handling cases of academic dishonesty.
