About The Position

Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for an Instructor for SPMA 3P25 Sport Sponsorship (Half Course) for the Winter D3 term, effective September 1, 2026. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation is $7,887.59 per half course. Instructors are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course if the course involves a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent. Duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, course administration, grade appeals, and cases of academic dishonesty, in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement.

Requirements

• Prior teaching and/or research experience in Sport Sponsorship.
• Relevant work/industry experience.
• Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level in Sport Sponsorship (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).

Nice To Haves

• PhD in Sport Management or related discipline is preferred.
