About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) SPMA1P93 Diversity and Inclusion in Sport Management Lecture. The lecture is scheduled for Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Instructors employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements

  • Prior teaching and/or research experience in this topic area.
  • Relevant work/industry experience.
  • Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations) in this topic area.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduled contact time with students
  • Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration
  • Handling grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty
  • Responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course for instructors employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent.
