About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for SPMA 4P26 Advanced Analysis of the Global Sport Industry for the Winter D3 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The course is a blended format, scheduled for Mondays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The compensation for this role is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (nominally 195 hours) or $15,775.20 per full course (nominally 390 hours). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

Requirements

• PhD in Sport Management or related discipline is preferred.
• Prior teaching and/or research experience in this topic area.
• Relevant work/industry experience.
• Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations) in this topic area.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled contact time with students
