About The Position

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Tenure Track Instructor for Accounting, Finance, & Comp Office Tech, starting in Spring 2027. CSN, founded in 1971, is a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI) offering hundreds of degrees and certificates. Assignments may be multi-campus with flexible scheduling options.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration from a regionally accredited College/University.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. in Accounting
  • CPA and/or CFE Professional Certification

Responsibilities

  • Teaching assignments will be designed to prepare students for certification in areas of emphasis such as Financial, Managerial, Tax Accounting, and other accounting courses.
  • Participation in student advisement, recruitment activities, assessment of Student Learning Outcomes, and Program/Curriculum Development will be essential.
  • Serving on Department, School, and Collegewide Committees along with other duties as assigned will be required.
  • Ability to work with a diverse workforce and student body.
  • Desire to reach out to the local community, business sector including collaboration with CCSD.
  • Interested in enhancing self-growth via internal and external courses, and seminars using learning management systems.
  • Assignments may be multi-campus with the possibility of day/evening and/or weekend classes.
