Installer (Insulation) - Yarmouth, ME
About The Position
The Installer installs company products according to work orders, manufacturer specifications, and quality and safety guidelines. Products may include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors and shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap, and other products sold by the company. The role includes preparing for daily assignments, inspecting vehicles and job sites, staging materials, reporting concerns, and performing warehouse duties as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position involving daily travel to job sites, with local travel and out-of-town travel as required.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing and repetitive motions; bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling; good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength; and lifting up to 50 pounds depending on job duties.
Responsibilities
- Install company products according to work orders, manufacturer requirements, and quality and safety guidelines.
- Review the daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with the products, tools, and equipment needed for the day.
- Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
- Safely unload and stage materials at job sites.
- Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
- Perform warehouse-related duties as required.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
