About The Position
As an installer, you will install company products according to work orders, manufacturer instructions, and quality and safety guidelines. Products may include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors and shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap, and other products sold by the company. The role includes preparing for daily jobs, transporting and staging materials, inspecting vehicles and job sites, reporting concerns, and performing warehouse duties as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring local travel, daily travel to job sites, and out-of-town travel as required.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- Meet the role's physical requirements, including prolonged standing; repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling; good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity; and physical strength.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, depending on specific job duties.
Responsibilities
- Install company products according to work orders, manufacturer instructions, and quality and safety guidelines.
- Review the daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with the products, tools, and equipment needed for the day.
- Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
- Safely unload and stage materials at job sites.
- Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
- Perform warehouse-related duties as required.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
