Installed Products Specialist
About The Position
The Installed Products Specialist installs company products according to work orders and manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines. Products may include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors and shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap, and other products sold by the company. The role involves preparing for daily jobs, transporting and staging materials, conducting safety inspections, and reporting safety, customer, or quality concerns. It may also include warehouse-related duties and other assigned tasks. The position requires daily travel to job sites, with local travel and out-of-town travel as needed. It is identified as a safety-sensitive position. Compensation is listed as $13.00–$30.00; actual offers depend on factors including location, experience, skills, and market data, and the role may also offer variable compensation.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- Meet the physical requirements of prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling; good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength; and lifting up to 50 pounds depending on job duties.
Responsibilities
- Install company products in accordance with work orders and manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines.
- Review the daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with the products, tools, and equipment needed for the day.
- Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
- Safely unload and stage materials at the job site.
- Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
- Perform warehouse-related duties as required.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
